Due to the pressure of exchanging greetings and sending Eid salami on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the server of Bangladesh’s leading mobile financial service provider bKash App was temporarily down on Wednesday night. On the occasion of Eid, it is known that such a situation was created due to the wide popularity of the newly added ‘Group Send Money’ feature to send Eid greetings to many people at once.
For the past few years, many people have been distributing Eid salami through bKash. Along with sending money, digital Eid salami with funny short messages has become a phenomenon of Eid. This time is no exception. As soon as the moon of Eid was seen, many people choose to send Eid greetings using bKash app. But while sending Eid salami, server problem occurs. Many users reported app outages on Wednesday night.
They said, the login page of the app got ‘hang’ on the eve of Eid. They also said that the fingerprint was not working properly. Despite repeated attempts, they could not enter the app. Even if you could enter the app, there was a problem while entering the pin number.
Earlier in a press release on Monday, April 8, Bikash authority informed that apart from sending digital greetings, default greetings cards or writing new messages on cards can also be sent for free. Customers will get the opportunity to write greetings and funny messages in both Bengali and English languages.
