In collaboration with the non-profit organization ‘Together for Bangladesh’, smartphone brand Realme is serving Iftar with the underprivileged during the holy month of Ramadan. This event is being implemented on every Friday of the fasting month as part of the initiative ‘Sobar jonno Iftar, Sobai Mile Iftar’ (Iftar for everyone, iftar together).
Realme has arranged iftar for at least 400 needy people on the second Friday of fasting. In the first phase of the campaign, this Iftar was organized in Dhanmondi area of the capital. In line with this, on the third Friday of fasting, Realme has arranged iftar for at least 500 people.
This iftar was organized in an orphanage called Lido Peace Home located in the capital Dhaka. The smartphone brand also plans to offer iftar to some more underprivileged people on the last Friday of fasting.
Allen Chen, Managing Director of Realme Bangladesh expressed his excitement and said, Realme believes in making a real difference in people’s lives, especially when they need it most. The campaign titled ‘Sobar jonno Iftar, Sobai Mile Iftar’ is an example of realizing the promise of a positive social change and improving the quality of life of the people living in the society. Through our partnership with Together for Bangladesh, we are working to ensure that this impact of kindness and compassion continues even after the holy month of fasting is over.
