The System Analyst of Bangladesh Technical Education Board has been arrested by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DB). During the operation, DB found a huge quantity of illegal certificates, mark sheet manufacturing factories.

This information was learnt in a message sent by the media department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police at around 11 o’clock on Monday. However, the name of the arrested person was not mentioned in this SMS. However, it is said that a police operation is underway in Agargaon and Pirer Bagh in the capital.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police said that details will be given after the operation is over.
According to DB sources, engineer AKM Shamsuzzaman was arrested along with a large amount of illegal and fake certificates, all equipment for making certificates. He was caught from his home in Agargaon of the capital on Sunday night.
Moshiur Rahman, deputy police commissioner of Lalbagh division of the detective police, who led the operation, said that he had been selling technical education board certificates for Tk 30,000 to Tk 50,000 for a long time.
The police officer also told the media that, as the Technical Education Board’s server is under his control, the existence of these certificates is also available online. He even stole the original paper for printing the certificate from the education board. Later, certificates were printed on those papers and sold to client students. An investigation is going on as to who else is involved in the incident.
