Archelic owns 57 percent of Singer Bangladesh, a household electronic product manufacturer listed on the Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchanges. The aim is to manufacture more than 90 percent of Singer’s products in the country. For this reason, they have already set up a factory in Bangladesh by spending about 858 crore taka in local currency. In this way, Singer Bangladesh is coming in a new form with various changes in addition to launching new workplaces and modern production factories.
Singer has dubbed this transformation ‘Transform for Growth’ in collaboration with Archelik, the flagship venture of Turkey’s Koch Group. The concept was unveiled at a press conference on Thursday in the afternoon, as Singer conveyed in a news release.
Archelik Chief Commercial Officer Jemal Jan Dincher, Singer Bangladesh Limited Managing Director and CEO MHM Fairoz and Archelik Director South Asia Regional Marketing and Business Transformation and Growth Handan Abdur Rahmanoglu announced the change at a press conference.
Inspired by the style of Turkey’s Archelik concept store, Singer Bangladesh has opened their concept store at Gulshan 1. The store will offer a variety of products under the Singer and Beko brands
Apart from this, Singer’s new head office has been built in Gulshan 2, designed by Turkish architects. Various types of facilities for employees will also increase there.
According to the press release, Singer Bangladesh aims to bring the global expertise of Koch Group and Archelik and Turkish quality to Bangladesh and make the consumer experience more enjoyable.
