Another 100 customers of Evaly have got their money back through a settlement of complaints by the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection. On Tuesday (March 5) the money was handed over to the customers in the new conference room of the Directorate.
Director General AHM Shafikuzzaman was present in the meeting room and handed over the checks of these dues to the customers. Earlier last month at the beginning of February, 150 customers got their money back through the settlement of the directorate.
The Director General of Consumer Rights A. H. M Safikuzzaman said that Evaly has been consistently refunding money to those 100 people whose complaints are within Tk 20,000.
DG of National Consumer Rights Protection also said that, due to the arrest warrant, the founder and CEO of Evaly Md. Russell did not come in the ceremony to return the due money.
About refunding the dues of consumers, Mohammad Russell said in the previous event, that, those who have complained to the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection will also get the money back and those who have not will also get the money.
