Banglalink, the country’s leading innovative digital service provider, has signed a bilateral agreement with Swap Bangladesh Limited to increase smartphone usage. As a result of this deal, customers are getting 12% extra on the exchange price of the old phones when purchasing a new 4G smartphone for the first time in Bangladesh.
According to GSMA data, only 48% of the total phone users in Bangladesh use smartphones. So Banglalink has taken this initiative to make smartphones more accessible and within the purchasing capacity of common customers. From now on, Banglalink customers can enjoy this offer in exchange of any 3G or 4G phone from Swap and purchase any new 4G phone.
Also, as part of the partnership with Banglalink, Swap Bangladesh is offering up to 12 months after-sales service on any 4G phone sold under this offer. Banglalink is also offering attractive bundle offers with e-SIM change facility.
Mehdi Al Amin, Marketing Operations Director of Banglalink said, “By signing an agreement with Swap, we want to increase the use of 4G compatible mobile phones. Our initiative will enable customers to access digital entertainment platforms like MyBL Super App and Toffee and enrich their digital lifestyle experience.”
Tanmoy Saha, Director and Chief Operating Officer, Swap, said, “We are delighted to work with the fastest 4G service providers in Bangladesh with the common goal of enhancing the quality of digital services. We hope Banglalink customers will accept our services and be a part of Bangladesh’s digital transformation by swapping their used 3G and 4G phones to new 4G phones.”
