The election manifesto of Awami League for the 12th National Parliamentary election is the persuasion of building a smart Bangladesh. We have already announced that we will build a smart Bangladesh by 2041. So, we will educate everybody in this Bangladesh in modern science and technology education. Smart people, smart government, smart economy, smart society. We will keep pace with the world. We shall walk with heads high in the court of the world; That is our goal.
The leader of the Awami League uttered these words while joining the election campaign virtually in Bamana and Patharghata of Kushtia, Jhenaidah, Satkhira, Netrokona, Rangamati and Barguna districts from the Dhaka district Awami League building in Tejgaon of the capital on Saturday (December 23).
Sheikh Hasina said that if there is a democratic environment in the country, there is progress. The democratic trend should be continued, the trend of development should also be continued.
Highlighting the various developments of the Awami League government, she said, we have made progress in every place. Development should continue.
Referring to the constitutional rights of the people to vote, Sheikh Hasina said, elections are ahead, we have made this election open. That’s because we want people to participate, vote peacefully.
Addressing the voters, the head of the government said, ‘We want to be elected by the people’s vote. Help to continue the ongoing development of the country by voting for boat in fair and peaceful elections. We want to build a smart Bangladesh. Through this, we will make Bangladesh a modern technology-based Bangladesh.’
He said, all will go to the people, whoever the people vote for will be elected. I want the election to be peaceful. Let the people properly exercise their right to vote. We want to protect democracy.
Central leaders of Awami League, concerned Awami League leaders of district, upazila, thana, municipality, union, ward levels, Awami League leaders and Awami League nominated candidates of the constituencies of the respective districts were present in this program.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina interacted with the leaders of the respective districts and enjoyed the cultural program.
