Stating that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has created the judicial system for common people through the universal application of laws, the State Minister for Information and Communication Technology said that since there was internet, the ICT Division had already developed a2i ‘My Court’ apps. Initially, many lawyers did not want to accept it. Afterwards, when the Prime Minister issued the Virtual Court Ordinance, those lawyers held hearings from London and Sydney. Later it became very popular. More than 400,000 cases have been heard in this app, including Supreme Court, High Court Division and District Subordinate Court. Through this she (Prime Minister) made the judiciary digital; where cases have been heard sitting at home – the benefits of which we got during the ‘Corona’ period.
Also, the state minister expressed his gratitude to the brave warrior doctors of the country for providing health care to the country’s patients at home during the pandemic like COVID19 through the telemedicine system and even taking care of the patients even after the treatment.
He expressed such expression, while speaking in a discussion meeting with lawyers and doctors serving in Singra Upazila on Sunday. He discussed about the promise and activities done in the 11th National Parliament Elections and reviewed the issues in the meeting.
