Daffodil International University (DIU) is proud to announce the launch of two specialized short courses aimed at equipping individuals with advanced skills in the field of cybersecurity. The Certificate Course on Ethical Hacking and Certificate Course on Advanced Penetrating Testing are designed to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the dynamic realm of cybersecurity.
Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of Daffodil International University was present as the Chief Guest and Dr. Md. Sazzadur Rahman from Jahangirnagar University was present as the Special Guest at the inaugural ceremony of the courses. Faculty Members of the Department of Software Engineering (SWE) of Daffodil International University and a large number of students were present at this event. Md. Maruf Hassan, Associate Professor of Department of Software Engineering Department and Director, Cyber Security Center of Daffodil International University presided over the program. The program was also addressed by Dr. Fazle Elahi, Associate Head and Afsana Begum, Coordinator (M.Sc), Department of Spftware Engineering Department.
The Certificate Course on Ethical Hacking is a rigorous 40-hour program that will immerse participants in the techniques and strategies used by ethical hackers to identify vulnerabilities within computer systems and networks. In addition, the Certificate Course on Advanced Penetrating Testing, a comprehensive 52-hour program, will delve deeper into the realm of penetration testing, enabling participants to simulate real-world cyberattacks and fortify their defensive capabilities.
Classes for both courses are set to commence on August 18, 2023, and will be conducted at the state-of-the-art Cyber Security Centre located at Daffodil International University’s in Daffodil Smart City. The courses are scheduled to run every Friday, providing flexibility for working professionals and students alike to pursue these valuable learning opportunities.
