On Monday evening, BAF Shaheen Hall in the capital turned into a meeting place for leaders and stakeholders of the country’s technology sector. State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak was the chief guest at “BACCO Iftar Mahfil 2023” organized by ‘Bangladesh Association of Contact Center and Outsourcing (BACCO)’.

While speaking as the chief guest, the state minister said, BSS, BASIS, ISPAB, e-CAB and BACCO – these 5 organizations are the ICT family. As there are emotional ties among family members, so is here. His direction is seen on the stage itself.
The BACCO president Wahid Sharif delivered a welcome speech on the occasion. The Iftar Mahfil was moderated by the General Secretary Tauhid Hossain. At the end of the program, the State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak and Arifa Jasmine Kanika were wished for 20 years of married life. The couple was accompanied by their youngest son Anirban.
In his greeting speech at the event, the ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak said that the government will fulfill the Smart Bangladesh goal by formulating and amending policies and laws if necessary with the advice of ICT sector organizations. By 2041, Bangladesh will be established as a high-income technology-dependent and knowledge-based innovative smart country by increasing export earnings from the IT and ITS sector; where the business sector will be the biggest partner next to the government.
