The top 25 proposals have been shortlisted for the semi-final round of R-Ventures 3.0, Robi’s flagship digital entrepreneurship platform. 40 percent of the shortlisted proposals are women entrepreneurs. Through which the diversity of the R-Ventures platform has emerged in the rapidly emerging start-up community of the country.
The semi-finalists will attend a three-day training session organized by Robi and SBK Tech Ventures at Robi Corporate Office on February 7-9. Renowned digital entrepreneurs Ayman Sadiq, Reyasat Chowdhury and Silvana Q. Sinha will present their startup journey to the participants as guest speakers. After the training, the teams will present their proposals to the judges at the end of this month.
Proposals shortlisted for the semi-final round include IoT solutions for the enterprise sector, solutions for measuring the impact of the enterprise sector on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), creating sectors for legal services, solutions for women’s safety, hygiene, healthcare, financial and wellness, Healthcare Solutions for Senior Citizens, Fin-Tech Solutions for Women Micro Entrepreneurs, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solutions for the SME Sector, Solutions for Recycling Facilities, Farm to Table Digital Platforms, Marketplaces for Apparel Traders, Solutions for Migrant Workers, Green Solutions for technology usage etc.
The best 25 proposals were selected from the 120 proposals in the second round of the competition. The teams pitched their ideas before an expert panel of judges comprising Robi’s senior management and eminent members of the startup community. Proposals are selected based on the uniqueness, viability, business model, structure of the company submitting the proposal, use of technology, financial analysis and implementation plan.
