a2I, the government’s digital transformation innovation initiative, is training Facebook-based e-commerce entrepreneurs in Bangladesh. A day-long workshop on ‘Entrepreneurship and a2i through Social Media’ was held on Wednesday at the ICT Tower located in Agargaon of the capital.
In the workshop to become a digital entrepreneur, detailed ideas were given about the implementation of various citizen-friendly digital service promotion activities through the promotion of indigenous products and entrepreneurs’ Facebook groups along with training, advice. Admins of e-commerce groups of 30 domestic products took training.
The project director (Joint Secretary) of a2i Dr. Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir inaugurated the training program. EDC Advisor Rajib Ahmed, a2i Communication and Outreach Consultant Adnan Faisal were present as trainers.
The workshop was inaugurated by a2i Head of Social Innovation Manik Mahmood, a2i National Portal Implementation Specialist (Deputy Secretary) Mohammad Shamsuzzaman, a2i Consultant District Branding (Senior Assistant Secretary) Iffat Jahan, EDC President Kakoli Talukdar and Vice President Nigar Fatema were present in the program.
