A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) in Bangladesh and Assam Down Town University (ADTU) in Guwahati, Assam, India. Eventually, new opportunities have been created in the field of education and research, including teacher-student exchange between the two universities and awarding joint degrees at Masters Level.
On Monday, the JUST Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain and ADTU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Narayan Chandra Talukdar signed the MoU on behalf of their respective universities. Delegations from the two universities joined the MoU from their respective institutions through the virtual platform Zoom. The Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation of JUST coordinated between the two universities.
The JUST Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain said that the two universities will go a long way as a result of joint research with teacher-student exchange. It grows when knowledge is shared. Hopefully, the students of both universities will get the benefits equally.
ADTU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Narayan Chandra Talukder said, as things like teacher-student exchange, arrangement of scholarships for meritorious students have been included in the MoU, there is a new bond between the two universities. New doors of education and research were opened.

Iqbal Kabir Zahid; Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Dr. Tanveer Islam; Dean of International Relations Department of Down Town University of Assam Dr. Mrinmoy Basak; former Chairman of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Dr. Feroz Kabir; Lecturer of the same department Dr. Md. Zahid Hossain, Dr. Kazi Md. Emran Hossain and others were present in the MoU signing ceremony.
