Today, on Sunday, November 13, 2022, a group of students of Dhaka University (DU) visited the National Museum of Science and Technology. During the visit, 70 students of DU who were receiving training at Bangladesh National Scientific Technical Documentation Center-BaNSDoC participated in the science lecture.
Mohammad Munir Chowdhury, the Director General of the National Science and Technology Museum, said in a science lecture to the students, “You should develop yourselves as ideal citizens by concentrating hard on your studies. There is no alternative to honesty, you have to walk on the right path for life, and you have to live with the ideal of honesty. Greed should be avoided in future career or professional life. Consumerism is destabilizing the whole world, spreading the fumes of corruption, turning society upside down, due to which human morality is becoming fragile. As the young generation, you have to take the responsibilities of running the country in the future.”
Calling to be humane, he also said to the youth, “Be service-oriented and loyal to God. The energy of youth should be used to prevent environmental disaster. It will take the country forward through science and technology.”
After the lecture session, the delegation participated in the quiz session. During the visit, a mobile science 4-D movie exhibition was organized for the students and the students boarded the Titanic ship installed in the science museum in a fun atmosphere.
