Twitter’s ‘impersonated’ and ‘fake’ accounts will be permanently closed. And for this, the user will not be given any message in advance, said the new owner, Elon Musk.
Elon Musk wrote in a tweet about this, earlier Twitter sent a warning message to the user before closing an account. But now that account verification is going on, no advance message will be given to anyone and there will be no interruption.
To be clear, signing up for Twitter Blue requires going through a verification process. Even the slightest change in your name can cause you to temporarily lose your verified checkmark.
Meanwhile, the Apple Store updated on Saturday. Through this, to get the blue verification mark on Twitter, users have to pay eight US dollars, in Bangladeshi taka, which is a little more than 800 taka (one dollar = 100.32 taka). Initially, iPhone users living in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Canada are getting the opportunity of this BlueTick. This facility will be available in other countries soon. However, the site has not given any specific information about when this facility will be launched in devices running on Android operating system.
Meanwhile, the Tesla head said, a content moderation council will be formed for Tutor to bring together different viewpoints. No action will be taken against any content or banning of anyone’s account without the decision of said council.
Regarding banned accounts, Musk said last week that suspended accounts will not be reinstated until there is a proper process to reactivate the accounts. It will take at least a few more weeks to create such a process.
