bKash and the leading science magazine, Bigyanchinta, are going to organize the ‘bKash-Bigyanchinta Science Festival 2022’ for the second time for school students across the country to encourage the new generation to practice science. This initiative is to highlight the importance of science practice from the student life in building a science and technology minded nation.
For this joint arrangement, an agreement was signed between bKash and Bigyanchinta today. In a ceremony organized at the head office of bKash, bKash Chief External and Corporate Affairs Officer Major General Sheikh Md. Monirul Islam (retd) and Bigyanchinta Editor Abdul Qayyum signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
As a part of this event, science festivals will be held with school students in the divisional cities across the country with the slogan ‘Bigyane Bikash’ (Development thru’ science). Students will have the opportunity to showcase their innovative science projects there. Besides, there will be science quiz competition, book exhibition and sale.
The final science festival of the national level will be organized in Dhaka with the winning students in the science project at the departmental level. Winners will be awarded at the final stage.
The agreement signing ceremony was also attended by Humayun Kabir, Head of Regulatory and Corporate Affairs of bKash, Saima Ahsan, General Manager and Arup Kumar Ghosh, General Manager of the Dainik Prothom Alo Events and Activations and Abul Basar, Executive Editor of Bigyanchinta.
