A workshop titled ‘Software Testing and Quality Assurance Career Path’ was held with the participation of the students of City University to test the software skill and verify the quality of its functionality. The three-hour workshop was held on Monday (September 19) at the University’s Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
In the software quality assurance and testing workshop, finding out if there is a defect in the software and at the same time taking care of whether the quality of the software is correct or not, and Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Case Execution made through Requirement Analysis are taught. Through this, 50 students have got hands on teaching about the completeness, correctness, and quality monitoring of the software.
The training camp was conducted by senior SQUA Protonics Limited and International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) certified Sabiul Islam Rashed. Engineer Md. Safayet Hossain, Head of CSE Department of the University presided over the workshop.
Software Quality Assurance and Testing is a phase of ‘Software Engineering’ where a software is monitored and observed in various ways to see if there are any defects in it, so that when we give any instruction or command to the software It is possible to manage successfully. This observation may be at the end of software development or at the beginning of development.
