The ICT department will provide technical support to the Dhaka Stock Exchange to prevent speculation in the stock market and to keep investors worry-free. State Minister for Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak expressed such an expression at the function after the official opening of ‘Amaya Securities’ in Baridhara of the capital on Sunday night.
He said that the capital market should also be strengthened for the country’s economy. That’s why I had a meeting with Bangladesh Security Exchange Commission Chairman on behalf of ICT Department. I will sit with the Dhaka Stock Exchange- DSE next week. Under the Enhancing Digital Government and Economy (EDGE) project, we will work for the welfare of customers and investors by automating and digitizing Bangladesh Securities Exchange Commission and Dhaka Stock Exchange. But for this the brokerage houses have to gain trust and confidence.
Aslam Sernabiat, Chairman of Amaya Securities and Managing Director of Car Selection, urged investment in Amaya for business success in interest-free investment in the meeting held at Intraco Center. Former ACC Chairman Shahabuddin Chappu presided over the program. He said that some mischievous people are manipulating the economic condition of the country on social media. No one will be fooled by Facebook. Social media is a threat to us. They have to be controlled.
