State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak said that Bangladesh has now come to a dignified position from the place of shame of poverty and corruption. ‘It was possible due to the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and our ICT advisor Sajeeb Wazed Joy Bhai’, he said.
After manufacturing 90% of the domestic demand in the country, the mobile phones are now being exported abroad, he said, adding that Walton is making laptops in Bangladesh. Now Made in Bangladesh is a popular phrase all over the world. But at one time, we could not dare to use such electronics or digital devices, let alone to produce or export. Because our economy did not have that prosperity. Today, Bangabandhu‘s Sonar Bangla has become a basket full of riches instead of a bottomless basket.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak said this at a press conference held at Madison Square Garden in New York on May 5.
“In the early hours of March 26, 1971, Bangabandhu used the EPR’s wireless system technology to spread the official declaration of independence throughout Bangladesh,” Palak added.
“This time, we want to make the cyber world safer through music,” he said.
