This Eid, the country’s re-commerce (old product selling platform) organization ‘Swap’ and e-learning platform ‘Shikho’ brought ‘GyanBaksho’ (Knowledge Box) for disadvantaged students. This is an e-learning course installed on a mobile phone. Student Assistance is providing affordable devices in a bundle package, including e-learning courses based on the ‘Swap’ and ‘Shikho’ partnership.
Through this box students can choose courses from the catalog of animated lessons in SSC and HSC of Bangladeshi National Curriculum. This package includes a specific smart device for students with one year warranty. The device has full year preparation for three subjects of SSC or HSC. Initially the box contains three devices. These are: Redmi 9i, Vivo Y21 and Galaxy Tab A8.
In the future, the two companies plan to include multiple types of devices and courses in this product bundle. Parvez Hossain, CEO of SWAP, said, “This new journey of SWAP and ‘Shikho’ can be a milestone for students. This package will be a great opportunity for those students who are looking for an affordable device for academic purposes. The smartphones and tablets in this package will be the gateway to a bright future for the students.
‘Shikho’ co-founder and CEO Shahir Chowdhury said, “We are thrilled to partner with leading re-commerce brand Swap to further Shikho’s mission to create quality education opportunities for all. GyanBaksho (Knowledge-box) will bring more affordable smart devices to students who are currently out of our digital e-learning service.”
