United Commercial Bank- UCBL, one of the largest private banks in the country, will provide working capital to expand the business of small entrepreneurs online. Delivery Tiger, a well-known e-commerce logistics company, will act as a platform in this regard.
More than 20,000 entrepreneurs registered with Delivery Tiger will receive cash before the parcel customer arrives at the time of product shipment in case of online order. This will enable small entrepreneurs to quickly capitalize on the business for sourcing new products. Many online merchants are hoping to use this opportunity to grow their business during the upcoming Eid season.
An agreement was recently signed between Delivery Tiger and UCBL in this regard. The agreement was signed by Fahim Mashroor, head of Delivery Tiger, and Arif Qadri, managing director of United Commercial Bank. Nabil Mustafiz, DMD of United Commercial Bank, Abdullah Al Mamun, Mohammad Khorshed Alam, ATM Tahmiduzzaman and Mohsinur Rahman, Head of SME Banking. Ronnie Mandal, Technical Director, Delivery Tiger, and Mosaddeq Kamal, Head of Finance, were also present at the signing ceremony.
