Energypack Power Generation Limited (EPGL) has taken initiative to strengthen the foundation of future engineers from the university. The Energetic Future Leadership Program (EFLP) is committed to finding qualified staff. Under this initiative, in the first phase, the company is training 25 students studying in 3rd year and/or 4th year in engineering departments of different universities. The inauguration of the first batch of ‘EFLP’ Intake-1 was held online with these students selected from more than a thousand students.
The chief guest was the Dean of the Engineering Faculty of BUET and Professor of the Department of Petroleum Engineering Dr. M Tamim.
EPGL’s independent director Nurul Amin was also involved among others.
Humayun Rashid, Managing Director and CEO of EPGL and Naweed Rashid, Chief Strategist of SBPM were also present on the occasion.
The inauguration ceremony started with the welcome speech of Naweed Rashid. Next, an audio-visual (AV) presentation introduces the corporate identity and goals of EnergyPack, a reputed organization in the country, as well as introductions to selected candidates for the program. The. The orientation program ended with a speech by the chief guest Dr. M Tamim.
Expressing gratitude to the participants, Humayun Rashid said, “I would like to thank all the young people who have taken the opportunity to participate in this program. The opportunity to receive training from such experienced professionals at this crucial time just before completing their degree will undoubtedly open the door to all the wonderful possibilities in their career. I believe that they will take the country forward by utilizing their talent, foresight and innovative power. Over the next three months, Energypack will continue its efforts to improve their self-improvement and career path.”
This important EFLP is designed to provide cross-functional experience, experimental learning and leadership development training. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a formal certificate from Energypack. After the program, the top three participants will be given priority for the next Energypack MTO placement. At the same time, other students will also be considered eligible to apply for jobs at EnergyPack.
