Earlier this year, Samsung announced the closure of a Note series. However, next year the new smartphone in the Note series will come. However, the latest news from South Korea says otherwise.
GSM Arena quoted IT News as saying that Samsung has completely eliminated the Note series from its 2022 product plan. And the main reason is foldable phone. This is easily understood by looking at the sales data of Note Series and Galaxy Z Fold over the last few years.
In 2019 and 2020, the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 20 series sold 12.9 million and 9.7 million units, respectively. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold alone has sold 13 million units. So, with the exception of note series, there must be some logic behind looking at flip and fold phones.
According to the report, the technology giant of South Korea will stop production of Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra in 2022. One year has passed since the unveiling of these two models.
