The Silver Jubilee Conference of WITSA, came to an end by spreading the melody of the enchanting flute of technology from Bangabandhu International Conference Center.
The four-day conference, which ended on Sunday night, was an achievement for Bangladesh; Technology knowledge and exchange of ideas. Rehearsals to lead the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
At the conference today, Sir Timothy John Berners-Lee, the father of the World Web, delivered an hour-long guidance on establishing equality through technology. On the last day of the conference, the screen came down with the hope that Bangladesh is slowly moving forward in this world of AI and robotics. In all, Bangladesh has got leadership strategy in 32 seminars.
Dr. Abdul Mannan, Executive Director of Bangladesh Computer Council delivered a welcome speech at the closing ceremony. NM Zeaul Alam, Senior Secretary, ICT Department spoke in the closing program while Shahid Ul Munir, President of Bangladesh Computer Society and Vice President of WITSA, thanked everyone on the occasion.
State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak expressed hope that the experience gained from the conference would be useful in leading the Fourth Industrial Revolution. He expressed his conviction to move forward together with everyone.
He said that the exchange of experiences with IT experts and experts from different countries through this world conference will contribute to the growth, development and development of information technology. At the same time, Palak emphasized the joint efforts of all to meet the challenges of the coming days in the IT sector.
On the other hand, in his keynote address, Salman F Rahman, Private Industry and Investment Adviser to the Prime Minister, said that Bangladesh would be successful in eliminating digital inequalities through collective use of technology.
Speaking as the chief guest, he said the country’s IT sector has achieved a lot under the dynamic leadership of the Prime Minister and the supervision of Sajib Wazed Joy. This trend will go further in the future.
WITSA Secretary-General James Poissant and WITSA Chairman Yannis Sirros were virtually connected to the event.
They handed over the crest of honor to the executive committee of the computer association through Sabur Khan, the former chairman of WITSA, for making the whole online event a success. Earlier, in order to make the conference a success, people connected in different ways took group pictures and the closing ceremony ended with waiting for the next conference.
