Apple has quietly stopped selling their 21.5-inch iMac. Less than six months after launching its own M1 chipset-powered model, Apple has decided to discontinue the Intel chipset-powered device. News Engadget.
Earlier, the entry-level dual-core iMac was sold through a page that was difficult to find. However, the technology giant has closed that page since October 29.
Engadget asked Apple for comment on the sale of the iMac. But no immediate comment was available. There have been instances of silently shutting down Mac sales before. However, in March of this year, Apple officially confirmed the news that the iMac Pro will stop selling.
If anyone wants to use the Intel chipset iMac outside of the silicon chip, they need to buy at least a 27-inch iMac or a Mac Mini for $1099. Apple wants to make its main customers its own Silicon Chipset-powered iMac customers.
