The Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority has entered into an agreement with the IEEE YESIST’12 platform. Through this, innovative platform, training will be given to several thousand students of the country.
This information was given on September 4, in a virtual event organized by the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority.
Speaking on the occasion, NM Zeaul Alam, Senior Secretary, Department of Information and Communication Technology, said that the Government of Bangladesh is emphasizing innovation to meet the sustainable development goals on time.
Bikarna Kumar Ghosh, Managing Director of Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park, informed about the various steps taken by the authorities. He said that as a result of this new agreement, 5,000 students will get training in the country.
In his welcome address, Professor Ramaltha Marimuthu of Mukaraguru College of Technology, India, said that the agreement would benefit the students as well as increase the number of entrepreneurs.
Bozenna Pasik-Duncan, a mathematician from the United States and professor of mathematics at the University of Kansas were also present on the occasion. In her speech, she praised the Bangladeshi innovators and entrepreneurs highly.
