The ICT department is going to create a protocol architecture at the national level for technology services. And before that, digital services law is being made to ensure the quality of services. To this end, plans have been made to empower a2i to innovate.
This information was given by the Minister of State for ICT while addressing a webinar titled ‘Thinking Digital Protocol’ organized by a2i on Thursday.
Zunaid Ahmed Palak said, “We are now going to introduce the Digital Services Act to set and maintain the quality of software to make the lives of citizens more comfortable through technology services.”
In his speech, the state minister said that Bangladesh is working to solve its own problems by creating own apps like Pathao, Sohoj, surokkha and so on. The government is encouraging inventors and entrepreneurs for this.
The webinar, hosted by a2i Policy Advisor Anir Chowdhury, was attended by a2i CTO Arfe Elahi, Nascenia IT CTO Fattahul Alam, Director General of Digital Security Agency Khairul Amin and computer scientist Dr Syed Akter Hossain.
At the beginning of the program, Promod Verma, Chief Architect of Aadhaar Platform, presented a documentary on India’s digital progress.
