Mohammad Munir Chowdhury, Director General of the Science Museum, has instructed the officers and employees to perform their duties with utmost honesty and sincerity to make the Science Museum a smart institution.
He made the call while handing over computer equipment to the officials/staff of the National Museum of Science and Technology on Sunday, August 22.
At that time, the director general of the science museum handed over 9 modern computers collected at a cost of around taka 6 lakh to the concerned people.
He said, “We need to increase the quality and speed of government work in government departments. If you don’t dodge at work, it is quite possible to perform many tasks in 9-5 hours. The government employees are the custodians for the smooth running of every institution in the state. Failure to protect this custody is a crime. It is possible to increase the quality of office work many times through honest and efficient use of government resources. There are countless examples of organisations failing due to lack of honesty and goodwill despite having resources. Government employees need to realise the meaning of this.
