The online preliminary application for admission in the 1st year undergraduate (honors) class of the National University for the academic year 2020-2021 will start from 4 pm on July 28. And it will continue till 12 noon on 14th August. Online classes for students admitted in the 1st year will start from September 15.
This information was given in the press release of the public relations office of the national university on Sunday (July 25). Earlier, all concerned have been asked to complete the admission process online in compliance with all health regulations related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Interested candidates have to fill up the application form from the National University Admissions website. The initial application fee must be submitted by 16th August through mobile banking prescribed by the college. Detailed information can be found on the National University Admissions website.
This decision was taken at the meeting of the admission committee for the academic year 2020-2021 on 12 July. The meeting was chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of the National University Md. Mashiur Rahman. During the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor emphasized reducing the session jam. He also directed to formulate a special academic calendar to alleviate the sufferings of the students.
Incidentally, the online admission process for the first-year undergraduate (honors) and first-year undergraduate (honors) professional classes for the 2020-21 academic year of the National University was to start from June 8. But as the Corona situation deteriorated, the government imposed strict restrictions. Then on the afternoon of June 6, the first-year admission committee meeting of the National University postponed the application process.
