Expatriate doctors in the United States have sent 250 mobile ventilators for the treatment of coronavirus in the country. In addition to the four physicians involved in the process, there is an entrepreneur from Canada. The ventilator is scheduled to arrive at Shahjalal International Airport at 8.30 pm on Saturday (July 24).
The Prime Minister’s personal physician and eminent medical expert Professor. ABM Abdullah will receive these ventilators at night.
He said expatriate doctors Ziauddin Ahmed Sadeq, Masudul Hasan, Chowdhury Hafeez, Mahmudus Shams Chowdhury Bappi and Canadian expatriate Arifur Rahman are associated with this great initiative.
According to sources, prominent Bangladeshi doctors and freedom fighters living in the United States with the help of Ziauddin Ahmed, the ventilators will reach Dhaka from New Delhi on Saturday for the Bangladesh Prime Minister’s Office through the Bangladesh Embassy in New Delhi.
Expert doctors say that a portable ventilator is a very effective device to save the lives of patients whose infections are very serious. If the patient’s lungs do not work, the portable ventilator makes the patient’s breathing work.
