France is suing Apple after Germany. The country’s Ministry of Commerce is suing for imposing harassing conditions on developers and startups who come to sell products in the App Store. The French-led startup has joined the ‘stuck digital’ case.
Reuters has confirmed the involvement of Fang Digital in this regard by looking at the court documents.
The lawsuit was filed after a three-year investigation by the DGCCRF, the news agency said. French Commerce Minister Bruno Le Mai ordered the investigation to begin. The case will be heard in the Commerce Court on September 18.
However, an Apple spokesman did not immediately comment on the matter.
