As a nation, Bangladesh is unique in its indomitable will and desire. The government led by the daughter of Bangabandhu has once again proved the victory in the last 14 months. So, Japan is no longer the only source of good technology. World-class technology products are also being produced in Bangladesh. And in this way, the government will build the country as an innovative nation in the world by 2041.
State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak, in his keynote address at the award handover ceremony of the winners of Blockchain Olympiad Bangladesh 2021 on Sunday, May 30, highlighted some of this credence.
In his speech, the state minister also explained how to be an innovative nation. At the same time, he called on the Blockchain Olympiad winners to prepare for world leadership.
Palak commented that blockchain would be the most reliable technology to ensure transparency, accountability and speed in financial and administrative work in the future. This technology is radically changing all the activities in the world.
The state minister also highlighted the various steps taken by the government to ensure that the future revolutionary solutions of the world can be given by the young inventors of Bangladesh. He also hopes that the best technologists in the world will make their debut from Sheikh Hasina Frontier Technology (SHIFT).
Perth Pratim Deb, Executive Director of Bangladesh Computer Council presided over the function while N. M Zeaul Alam, Senior Secretary of ICT Department, Blockchain Olympiad Co-ordinator Habibullah N Karim and Professor Abdul Momen of AIBA of Dhaka University spoke on the occasion.
“Kagojer Nouka”, the team from BUET who are the Blockchain Olympiad Bangladesh Champion could not be present at the event. So it was announced that taka one lakh of their championship would be delivered through a digital wallet.
Abu Rafi Muhammad Arif Ryan, Tasnuva Ashraf Umama, Md Kamrul Islam and Muntasir Hasnain Chowdhury of the team ‘Masala Dosa’ won the Silver Award and received a check for Taka 15,000 each.
Abul Hasan and Mahbub Elahi of the ‘Brogrammaras’ team also received a check of Taka 6,250 each. Similarly, Md. Tahlil, Sarwardi and Atiqur Rahman of Team ‘DU Nimbas’ got the check for the same amount.
Similarly, Sabila Nowshin, Samiul Alam Shakib, Iffat Jahan, Tareq Hasan of ‘Rampatadenas’ team and Nawid Kabir, Tahsanur Rahman, Mirza Kamrul Sohan of Prabha of the team ‘Rocket’ were also handed over the checks.
