Before exchanging Eid greetings, a new happy video has spread over social and online media. It is adding new hope and aspiration to the people of Dhaka on the verge of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The video is being shared in the timeline of netizens starting from ministers and MPs.
The video shows an electric train made by Kawasaki-Mitsubishi in Japan running on the 20-kilometer MRT-6 line from Uttara to Motijheel. Inside the stainless steel coaches, there is a seating arrangement on both sides. Each coach also has space for two wheelchairs. Each coach has four spacious doors on either side. However, when you come to the station, it will open on one side. The train will be on the platform level, so there is no need for stairs like a normal train.
According to sources, the metro will run from Uttara along the middle of the road to Motijheel via Mirpur-Farmgate. It will take less than 40 minutes.
The trains will run on DC 1500 volt power. And through this, the journey of the electric railway will start in the country.
