YouTube TV subscribers get another new platform – PlayStation 5. The console has been secretly added to the service on Google’s support website. Engadget reported this information quoting Android police.
The service was launched during a mutual complaint between Google and Roku over YouTube TV. According to Roku, Google is pushing for a change in their hardware, which will increase the price of the streaming device. At the same time, Google wants special benefits in search results.
Google, on the other hand, says that Roku is trying to change the YouTube experience to get special benefits. Roku dropped YouTube TV from their store last week over a mutual complaint between the two. While Roku does not have a platform, users are getting access to YouTube TV on at least a dozen other platforms. The latest addition is the PlayStation console. YouTube TV can already be used in the Xbox series XE.
