Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, claims that the new social media platform Threads currently has about 100 million monthly active users. He expects the app to have a ‘good chance’ of reaching the target of one billion users in the next two years. News Engadget.
According to the news, Meta has earned more than thirty four billion dollars in this quarter. Also, it is the only social media company with nearly four billion monthly users.
Zuckerberg said, “I’ve been thinking for a long time that there should be a conversational app that has a billion users. A few more years of threading is likely to get to that stage”.
It is to be noted that, the social media achieved the milestone of 100 million sign-ups in the first week of the launch of Threads last July.
