16-year-old Indian girl Pranjali Awasthi has taken the tech world by storm with her AI startup – Delv AI. During an event at Miami Tech Week, Pranjali Awasthi informed that she founded her company in January 2022. After that she successfully ran his own company and raised around 3.7 crore rupees.
Delv AI’s LinkedIn profile also lists 10 employees already employed. Speaking about her company at the event, Pranjali chose her father as her role model.
After learning computer science at school, she was drawn to the work of his father (an engineer by profession). It started from there. She also started coding at the age of seven, so she had no problem working as an AI developer later on.
When her family moved to Florida at the age of 11, Pranjali began participating in computer science and competitive mathematics programs. But it was her internship at a Florida International University research lab at the age of 13 that influenced her the most in startups.
During the internship, she had to continue her studies in the virtual world due to the pandemic. That’s when OpenAI’s ChatGPT-3 came into the market. This sparked a new idea for ChatGPT-3. Pranjali, who was interested in creating an AI that would extract and publish summaries from any research that was facilitated.
Pranjali joined an AI startup accelerator in Miami run by Backend Capital’s Lucy Guo and Dave Fontenot. Her AI journey was recognized as a significant milestone at the event.
She reported that he had great success with Delv AI’s beta launch Product Hunt. Product Hunt is a platform that helps anyone share their software for free.
Pranjali also said that Delv AI’s primary goal is to assist researchers in the appearance of various research papers. On Deck and Village Global played a key role in the secure data transfer and investment in Pranjali.
