The Indian government has banned the electronic identification (ID) of hackers who threatened to attack Bangladesh on August 15 from neighboring India. Information about the closure of that ID has come from a special social media called ‘Indian Cyber Force’.
It says, ‘The hacker group has been permanently shut down by the Indian government. Now no country will be cyber-attacked.’
However, group closure does not mean it’s risk-free; Cyber experts advise to be extremely cautious as it could be their different tactics. That is why Bangladesh Government’s Computer Incident Response Team (BGD e-GOV CIRT) has not released any information about the shutdown of the ID.
Earlier on July 31, a group of Indian hackers threatened to attack the cyber world of Bangladesh. They mentioned August 15 as the possible attack date. In view of the threat, the government has also issued a warning about cyber security.
