The Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy (iDEA) project under Bangladesh Computer Council of Information and Communication Technology Division is working tirelessly to enrich the startup culture in Bangladesh by undertaking developmental activities on innovation and entrepreneurship. So far, iDEA project has sanctioned grant of Tk. 10 lakh to 385 potential startups at the pre-seed stage. Meanwhile several startups are doing well which is considered very positive by the iDEA authorities. Among those ‘Skoot Limited’ is one of the promising startups.
The iDEA project portfolio startup Sckoot is moving forward with its commitment to manufacture eco-friendly and advanced technology e-bikes. The organization received a pre-seed grant from the iDEA project in 2022.
Skoot and Walton Digitech Industries Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday evening, July 13, at Walton Digitech Industries Limited’s corporate head office in Bashundhara, Dhaka, to jointly manufacture e-bikes.
According to the MoU, Skoot and Walton soon commit to manufacturing eco-friendly and advanced technology e-bikes in Bangladesh. Both companies aim to improve the riding experience for customers and create high-quality and advanced products. Through this strategic partnership, both companies hope to create a better future for the e-bike industry.
The MoU between the iDEA Project startup Scoot and Walton was signed by Skoot’s Managing Director Kazi Ridwan Ahmed and Walton Digitech Industries Limited’s Chief Business Officer Md Tauhidur Rahman.
At this time, Skoot’s directors Sihab Khan and Partho Roy and Walton Digitech Industries Limited’s Head of Marketing Md. Taufiq Imam, Deputy Assistant Director of Sales Md. Fuad Rahman and Deputy Director, e-bike, Kaykobad Siddique were present among others.
