Chattogram University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) campus of engineering cluster of 2022-23 academic year undergraduate first year/level-1 CUET, KUET and RUET combined admission test ended today Saturday (June 17) at 10 am in the campus of the university.
The attendance rate of students in ‘A’ group in the entrance examination was 81 percent. In this year’s admission exam, there were 28 thousand 395 candidates against a total of 3231 seats including 931 seats in CUET, 1065 seats in KUET and 1235 seats in RUET.
Among them, there were 7 thousand 644 students in ‘A’ group and 682 students in ‘B’ group, making a total of 8 thousand 326 students. 6 thousand 759 out of total 7 thousand 644 candidates of ‘A’ group appeared in CUET center admission test and 1 thousand 567 candidates were absent i.e. attendance rate of ‘A’ group is about 81 (81.18) percent. On the other hand, out of total 682 candidates of ‘B’ group, 481 were present and 201 were absent, i.e. the attendance rate of group ‘B’ is about 71 (70.53) percent.
Meanwhile, the CUET Vice chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Alam visited various halls of CUET center at 10:30 am. The member of the central admission committee and the president of the local admission committee, Dean of CUET Civil Engineering Faculty Dr. Md. Professor Moinul Islam, Dean and Registrar (Additional Charge) of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir and Director of Student Welfare Professor Dr. Md. Rezaul Karim were present at that time.
