Huawei South Asia’s Digital Power Department conducted a workshop with more than a hundred Bangladeshi PV (photovoltaic) solution installers to solve various needs related to solar power. The organizers expressed hope that this workshop titled ‘Huawei Installer Workshop 2023’ will help Bangladesh achieve the renewable energy production target.
The keynote speaker at the workshop was Liang Weixing (Jack), Managing Director of Huawei South Asia Digital Power. After that the Managing Director of Sherpa Power Engineering Limited MA Taher discussed about what kind of benefits can be obtained by using Huawei inverters and solutions.
The participants took part in various trainings and had the opportunity to learn about Huawei’s various power solutions. In the session, the speakers discussed the benefits, solutions and related details of Huawei inverters, practical application of residential on-grid energy storage system (ESS) solutions, installation of inverters and fusion solar applications.
Apart from the workshop, Genetic Power and Engineering Ltd. was given an approval certificate. With this approval, Genetic Limited will henceforth have the privilege of having ready stock of Huawei inverters for residential and commercial projects. Liang Weixing (Jack), Managing Director of Huawei South Asia Digital Power said at the event, “Huawei South Asia is taking various initiatives in this sector to further increase the use of environmentally friendly energy in Bangladesh. Part of our plan is to help Bangladesh achieve its electricity generation target of up to 40 percent from renewable energy sources by increasing the use of green energy. I feel that this workshop will help in enhancing the skills of those involved in the solar power sector.”
On the occasion, Chairman and Managing Director of Genetic Power and Engineering Limited, Engineer Md. Lutfar Rahman said, “As a leading solar installer company, the approval we have received to keep ready stock of Huawei inverters is a tremendous opportunity. Huawei is offering high quality inverters. This approval will help us contribute to the development of the renewable energy sector in Bangladesh.”
Incidentally, Huawei South Asia Digital Power is trying to fully utilize the potential of solar power. The company has so far installed solar plants in various parts of the country and
implemented several roof-top projects including Solar Independent Power Producer (IPP) projects. To accelerate the country’s journey towards digital power, Huawei South Asia
is organizing various events and collaborating with various partners to support this transformation.
