Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh (BDU) held an advanced technology exchange meeting with Walton Digi-Tech, a global electronics and technology product manufacturer in Bangladesh.
On Tuesday (May 9, 2023) morning, the meeting held at the administrative building of the university at Kaliakoir in Gazipur, was presided over by the Vice-chancellor of the university Dr. Muhammad Mahfuzul Islam.
Honorable Treasurer of the University Prof. Dr. Muhammad Anwar Hossain; First Senior Assistant Director of Walton Digitech Industries Limited, (Marketing and Sales) Md. Fuad Rahman Faisal; Chief Business Officer (Computer and PCBA) Md. Tauhidur Rahman Raad; Assistant Director Ataul Goni Kaushik; Ashrafuzzaman, chairman of the education technology department of the university; Samsuddin Ahmed, the chairman of the IoT and robotics engineering department; and Md Taukir Ahmed, the lecturer of the IoT and robotics engineering department in charge of industrial collaboration, were present.
While speaking as the President, the BDU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahfuzul Islam said, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh is working to create smart manpower required for Smart Bangladesh.
The Vice-Chancellor said that Walton and BDU are geographically located next to each other and both institutions are working tirelessly to build Smart Bangladesh. I believe that through the exchange of technology between the two institutions, under the opportune leadership of the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the development of Smart Bangladesh will be accelerated.
