Chinese technology giant and search engine Baidu Inc. is going to bring chatbot with artificial intelligence in March this year. A related source told Reuters on condition of anonymity. Baidu’s chatbot will be very similar to OpenAI’s popular chatbot ChatGPT.
Baidu will initially launch its chatbot separately and gradually integrate it with the search engine, the source said. However, the person refused to identify himself as the matter is confidential.
ChatGPT mainly works through machine learning. It enriches its repository from user input and can quickly provide the desired information to the user based on the information obtained from it. Beyond that, it can behave much like human intelligence. It is often used by users to write poems and even novels.
Recently, big tech companies have started showing interest in artificial intelligence. Microsoft Corporation has invested $1 billion in OpenAI, a San Francisco-based technology company. Google has also announced that they will also increase investment in this sector.
