Dinajpur Education Board postponed the exams on Mathematics (compulsory), Chemistry, Agriculture, and Physical Science subjects. The exam dates are rescheduled on October 10, 11, 12, and 13.
On Thursday (September 22), Dinajpur Education Board Chairman Professor Md. Kamrul Islam confirmed this News.
He said that the exam date will be posted on the website by noon. Possible dates are October 10, 11, 12, and 13.
On Wednesday (September 21), there were allegations of leaking question papers on six subjects at Bhurungamari in Kurigram district. After that, the notification signed by Dinajpur Education Board Chairman informed about the postponement of the exams. Those subjects are – Mathematics, Physics, Agriculture and Chemistry.
Among these postponed exams, the Math test was scheduled to be held on Thursday, September 22. Apart from this, the exam was scheduled for Physics on September 24, Agricultural Science on September 25, and Chemistry on September 26.
Meanwhile, the police arrested three more people in this incident. They are – Bhurungamari Nehal Uddin Girls’ High School Agricultural Education teacher Hamidul Islam, Bengali subject teacher Sohel Chowdhury and peon Sujan Mia. Six people were arrested in total in this connection.
Earlier, in the same incident, the headmaster of that school Lutfar Rahman, English teacher Aminur Rahman Russell and Islamic education teacher Zobair Islam were arrested and sent to jail.
