Tesla and SpaceX chief Elon Musk recently had a meeting with Twitter staff for the first time. From Twitter to space, he has talked about various issues including aliens. However, the Tesla chief has hinted at retrenching the staff of the microblogging platform there.
Elon Musk sat in a video call with Twitter staff last Thursday. There, he said, the possible layoffs on Twitter would depend on the company’s financial situation. The company has to survive well. At the moment the cost is much more than the income.
However, those who have made significant contributions to the company have no reason to be concerned, said Elon Musk.
Tensions between the two sides have been running high for two months since the announcement of Twitter’s 4.3 billion acquisition. Elon Musk has threatened to cancel the deal if accurate data on spam and fake accounts is not shared.
