Apple eventually allowed third-party app stores, but only in Europe. The iPhone maker is unhappy with the decision to allow third-party app stores under pressure from users.
Apple executive Phil Schiller is concerned about the issue. However, he said allowing multiple payment systems to be used during in-app purchases.
In an interview this month, the Apple executive said the company wants to take the necessary steps to comply with EU rules that come into force in March 2024. It was then that he detailed the dangers of third-party app stores.
Issues which apps can’t control; bud would be possible if it had its own app store. But he also said that the company will do what it can to reduce the risks that iPhone users may face in the near future.
