Small-scale video sharing platform TikTok is going to close the ‘Creator Fund’ after three years to popularize the ‘Creativity Program’. From December 16, the operations of the fund will be stopped in the United States, United Kingdom, France and Germany.
However, creators associated with the Creator Fund can earn 20 times more money if they meet the conditions to join the creativity program. This news was given by the technology site TechCrunch.
Chinese video sharing network TikTok has started with small videos but is gradually increasing the video recording time. It is believed that TikTok has taken this initiative to popularize the creativity program for large video creators.
Although Creator Fund has no time limit for videos, the Creativity Program requires uploading of videos longer than one minute in high resolution. TikTok then pays based on the number of followers and views of the video.
