Bangabandhu was a philosopher. That is why he will still be on the path of walking centuries later. His human values are exemplary for all. And to digitally highlight the life of this `Jyotirmoy’, the ICT division will release another animation series after Mujib Amar Pita.
Minister of State for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak elaborated on the series at a program in the conference room of ICT Tower to mark the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Wednesday.
He stated that the animation series length will be 100 minutes divided by 10 series, there will be highlight 55 years of Bangabandhu’s life in 5 parts. The five episodes will include The Khoka of Tungipara, Mujib from Khoka, Mujib bhai from Mujib, Bangabandhu from Mujib Bhai and Father of the Nation from Bangabandhu.
Zunaid Ahmed Palak expressed pride and happiness at the pioneering role of ICT department in highlighting Bangabandhu’s working life and ideals in the country and the world through digital technology while NM Ziaul Alam, Senior Secretary, ICT Department, presided over the meeting.
Meanwhile, Holographic presentations have already been made in the ICT department to commemorate the centenary of Bangabandhu’s birth. Augmented Reality applications have been created. VR tools have been created to give anyone from anywhere in the world the opportunity to take a virtual tour of Bangabandhu’s house No. 32 and Tungipara where he is rest in peace forever. It will be open to everyone in a few days.
Speaking as the chief guest, the State Minister for ICT said that the Mujib100.gov.bd website created by the ICT department has been played a central role in all the events of the MujibBarsha on the digital platforms. It has not only served as a website but also as a research database for the past 12 months.
In his speech, the state minister highlighted the initiatives taken by the ICT department to explore Bangabandhu’s exemplary life to the future through digital.
“We have finished making the animated film Mujib Amar Pita for Children,” he said. It will be released later this year after correcting technical screen errors. In this film, the humanity of Bangabandhu has been highlighted up to the language movement.
Among others, Hosne Ara Begum, Managing Director, Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority, Rina Parveen, Additional Secretary, Sanjida Subhan and Bikarna Kumar Ghosh spoke on the occasion.
