As of Thursday, January 2, Thailand has introduced its e-visa service for Bangladeshi passport holders.
According to the Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladeshi citizens holding ordinary passports can now apply for Thai visas online. The e-visa will be sent via email within 10 days of application, and applicants can use it to enter Thailand.
To apply for the Thai e-visa, applicants must first create an account online. They are then required to fill out the application form and upload the necessary documents.
Visa fees must be paid online, depending on the selected category. After submission, the e-visa will be sent to the applicant’s email within 10 days. For more details on applying for the Thai visa, applicants can visit the designated link provided by the embassy.
Earlier, on December 19, Thailand had launched the e-visa service for Bangladeshi government passport holders. Subsequently, the Thailand Visa Center in Dhaka was closed on December 24.
To date, Thailand has implemented the e-visa facility in 69 embassies worldwide.
