Nagad, the fastest growing mobile financial services company of Bangladesh, has signed an agreement with Pran-RFL, one of the country’s largest consumer goods manufacturing conglomerates, for digital payments and modern transactions. The two companies believe that this agreement will usher in a new chapter in digital transactions in the field of consumer goods.
The signing ceremony of the two top organizations of the country, Nagad and Pran-RFL, was held at the headquarters of Nagad. Maruful Islam Jhalak, executive director of the company, signed the contract on behalf of Nagad. On the other hand, Group Finance Director Uzma Chowdhury, CPA signed the agreement on behalf of PRAN-RFL. As a result of this agreement, the two parties believe that the pace of the digital economy will accelerate.
Nagad’s Business Sales Head Mohammad Mahbub Sobhan along with top officials of the two organizations were present at the signing ceremony.
In a press release issued on Thursday regarding the agreement, the two companies are committed to offer an unprecedented customer experience by combining the state-of-the-art technology of Nagad and the market experience of the Pran-RFL group.
Nagad, which launched in 2019, has emerged as the country’s fastest growing billion-dollar company. With 9 crore registered customers, the company’s current daily average transaction is over Tk 1800 crore. Meanwhile, Nagad has tied up with several other top industry groups in the country to take digital transactions to new heights.
