The leaders of Bangladesh’s oldest professional organization, Engineers Institution, Bangladesh (IEB), said that the engineers are united under the leadership of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Bangladesh has grown stronger in its 54th year of independence. Engineers are working tirelessly to build the Bangladesh of Bangabandhu’s dream and the smart Bangladesh of public leader Sheikh Hasina. Engineers are committed to showcase the freedom gained by the sacrifice of millions of martyrs.
The leaders of engineer community laid wreaths at the National Memorial in Savar on Tuesday, March 26, organized by the Institution of Engineers on the occasion of Great Independence and National Day.
Bangladesh Engineers Institution Vice President Engineer Md. Nuruzzaman, Engineer Md. Shahadat Hossain Shiblu, Engineer Kazi Khairul Bashar, IEB General Secretary Engineer SM Manjurul Haque Manju, Dhaka Center Chairman Engineer Mohammad Hossain and other leaders of IEB spoke at that time.
IEB General Secretary SM Manjurul Haque Manju said, IEB always works in the spirit of independence and liberation war. IEB is uncompromising on the question of independence and sovereignty. Engineers of the country are working tirelessly to highlight freedom in the world court

The program of the Great Independence and National Day started with the hoisting of the National Flag at the IEB premises. Later, wreaths were placed on the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and a discussion meeting was organized on the occasion of Independence Day in the afternoon.
Various engineering leaders of various departments, centers and sub-centers of IEB were also present at that time.
